GOD's WORD of Guidance Today: Luke 13:24

♥♪I NEVER WILL CEASE TO LOVE HIM ♥♪

JESUS said "Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able."

You say "But why should we strive?"

1) Because heaven is worth striving for! How many men will strive for a little honor, a little profit, a little pleasure? But what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Mark 8:36

2) Because otherwise, the devil and hell will assuredly have thee 1 Peter 5:8 says "He goes about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" Satan never slumbers.

3) Because every lust wars against thy soul. Galatians 5:17

4) Because you have a whole world against you. 1 John 2:15-16. Many a Christian who has overcome the world's assaults has been captured by its flatteries.

5) Because nothing of Christianity is got by idleness. Proverbs 23:21; Hebrews 6:12

Strive to enter in, lest you be found like the church of Sardis, to wit, "To have a name to live and be dead." Revelations 3:1

O Church "Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold of eternal life." 1 Timothy 6:12

In otherwords: S T R I V E !

...to enter into JESUS (the strait gate)

our Sabbath Rest...

ceasing from our own works... (dead to sins)

and alive to CHRIST

taking HIS yoke upon us (aka picking up our cross and following JESUS)

living as CHRIST lived.
