PERSECUTION

12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

My goal for this page is to open your eyes and prepare you for real persecution. What is persecution? Is it when anyone opposes Christian agenda's or beliefs? When we are told that we can't pray or read our Bible? When Christian programing is being threatened of removal from tv & radio? I find it strange that Christian's in the United States think that it's outrageous to be persecuted for their faith. What a sheltered life many of us in the States live. Herein we shall see what persecution is.

The Scripture says, All that will live GODLY will suffer persecution.

GOD said it. It is so.

GOD is not a man - that HE should lie.

This entry is written for those who will live GODLY. That they be prepared to face whatever comes
their way.

It's a good sentiment...but, unfortunately for your martyr self, Christians are FAR from persecuted in our country. Have you EVER been told you can't read you bible or pray? I would really like to know when. This is America...you can read what you choose. Certainly your thoughts (prayers) are private and unchangeable. Christian programming will never be removed from television and radio. What I am guessing you are objecting to is the loss of public funding for such programming. It shouldn't be funded by taxpayers. Along with other special interest programming, christian networks need to work on fundraising to keep their message on the air.

Yes, you are right. We've had it so good for so long, we are pretty much spoiled. We are shocked at even the slightest persecution. We haven't seen anything compared to others who have suffered for their faith.

Oh how true this is. we are to sheltered and many are because they choose to be.May the Lord help us to be ready.
