GOD'S WRATH...or is it the land vomiting?
Leviticus 18:24-26
24 Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:
25 And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.
26 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes

As I was reading Revelations the first time I was amazed that John (who wrote it) was surprised when the people didn't repent from their sins when earthquakes came. Or when GOD poured out all the plagues.
and I prayed:,"..but GOD....how are we supposed to know YOU are sending all these bad things on us for our sins? I don't think I would have even known to repent!" I think HE was rather disappointed in me when I said that.
But, here is the answer to my question: We are to know that we need to repent when catastrophies come:
The same way we are supposed to know about GOD Himself. Through HIS priests and prophets and HOLY SCRIPTURES. Through the HOLY SPIRIT's witness!
And of course, that is why GOD has to pour out HIS Wrath on mankind anyway, because they ARE NOT LISTENING TO HIS HOLY SPIRIT's warnings.
