ILLEGAL ALIENS
♪♥ANGRY WORDS ♥♪
Dear Agape Press,
I must say I was SHOCKED to read your story http://headlines.agapepress.org/archive/4/52005g.asp.
I find it completely lacking in CHRISTIAN LOVE...and frankly of a 'hateful, condemning nature." (towards those in this country illegally)
While GOD's Word admonishes us again and again to LOVE our neighbor, and to do unto others as we would have them do unto you... (I do not see Americans rushing to live in 3rd World countries! I take it THEY WISH to live here and enjoy America's GOD's Graced Goodness! BUT OH NO! LET'S NOT SHARE IT! ME ME ME AND MINE MINE MINE! SEND THOSE POOR DEVILS BACK WHERE THEY COME FROM OR THEY MIGHT STEAL SOME CRUMBS OUT FROM UNDER MY TABLE!!!)
Does this not bring to your mind shades of Luke Chapter 16...Where OUR LORD and SAVIOR JESUS is teaching of the rich man and Lazarus? I dare say it should, my dear family in CHRIST.
I am so saddened to see a 'CHRISTIAN' newspaper fall in line with that dispicable EVIL way of thinking! Better by far to CRY FOR AMNESTY of the GOOD POOR people who would seek a decent living here for their families. Make it 'OBTAINABLE' for them to fulfil the law--don't legislate citizenship out of their realm of reach! MOST poor people ABSOLUTELY HAVE NO HOPE to come here Leagaly...it is as impossible for them to do so as it would be for the average American to purchase a 'Leer Jet', money wise, and TOTALLY impossible through the Laws. There are never enough visas to go around.
Do not misunderstand me to be aiding and abetting true 'criminals' those who seek to harm others through drug dealing or terrorist activities, but to call all illegal aliens criminals is to 'slap GOD's face' for HE is their protector.
Behold a small sampling of GOD's Word exhorting us:
Exo 12:49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.
Exo 22:21 Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
Exo 23:9 Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
Lev 19:10 And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the LORD your God.
Lev 19:33 And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him.
Lev 19:34 But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.
Lev 24:22 Ye shall have one manner of law, as well for the stranger, as for one of your own country: for I am the LORD your God.
Lev 25:35 And if thy brother be waxen poor, and fallen in decay with thee; then thou shalt relieve him: yea, though he be a stranger, or a sojourner; that he may live with thee.
Deu 10:17 For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:
Deu 10:18 He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.
Deu 10:19 Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
Deu 10:20 Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God; him shalt thou serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, and swear by his name. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
